Member of parliement Harin Fernando says he has decided to be an independent MP, left the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB).
“This country needs a Government soon. We can’t delay this. If the SJB is delaying this I have decided to be independent and support a process to form a Government,” the senior SJB MP said.
“Yes, It’s ideal to takeover the Government with a people’s mandate in an election but it’s not the time for that. The more we delay this the more the country will suffer,” Harin Fernando added. Source (NewsWire)
