Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) had organized the 71st Anniversary of Tamil Service and the 60th Anniversary of Muslim Service was held at the Ananda Samarakoon Studio recently. It was held under the patronage of the Chairman of the SLBC Hudson Samarasinghe.
Assistant Director of the Tamil Service Mrs. K. Nagapushani delivered the welcome address.
Minister of Fisheries Douglas Devananda and Minister of Justice Ali Sabry PC cut the cake to mark the anniversary of Tamil and Muslim Service.
Religious Leaders Ven. Dr. Galkande Dhammananda Thera, Prime Ministers Hindu Religious and Cultural Affairs Coordinator Shiva Siri Dr. Babu Sharma Kurukkal, Prime Ministers Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs Coordinator Al-Haj Ash Seyed Dr. Hassan Moulana and Prime Ministers Christian Religious and Cultural Affairs Coordinator Rev. Dr. Sixtus Kurukulasuriya praised and blessed the SLBC service.
