COLOMBO : Beginning Monday, September 6, the Colombo Municipality will begin vaccinating adults over 20 years of age among residents in Colombo 1 to 15.
Regional Epidemiologist Dr. Dinu Guruge said on Sunday, September 5 that these vaccinations will be given in five centers in Colombo.
Centers include :
1) Sugathadasa Stadium-walk in
2) Ginthupitiya MOH office -walk in
3) Forbes Road Community Hall – walk in and echanneling
4) Campbell Park -Walk in
5) Shalika Hall -walk in and echanneling
6) Roxy Gardens – walk-in and echanneling.
The other condtions include, beneficiaries should be residents (Temp or permanent) of Colombo 1-15 ONLY , 2001 born and onwards, echanneling will be open after 6pm on Sunday September 5.
Guruge said : “ We have ENOUGH vaccines. Do not overcrowd or panic. We will continue to vaccinate throughout the week from 9am -3pm daily.”
