Sri Lanka health authorities have taken a decision to administer the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine as the third dose for several categories.
Director-General of Health Services Dr. Asela Gunawardena said that the 3rd dose will be administered to the following groups initially.
Those who are above 60 years and have taken the Sinopharm or Astrazeneca vaccine as the first and 2nd dose.
Those with illnesses between the ages of 30 -60.Those with
Cancer & kidney diseases.
Health workers.
Frontline workers.
