The GCE Ordinary Level Examination 2021 will be held in February 2022, Education Minister Professor G.L. Peiris announced today.
The Minister said the examination will be held from 21st February to 03rd March 2022.
The exams, which are usually held in December every year, have been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Schools in Sri Lanka were forced to suspend academic activities due to the third wave of the coronavirus.
However, the Education Ministry initially recommenced academic activities via online lectures for GCE Ordinary and Advanced level examination classes and later expanded to the remaining grade
